We are seeking an inspiring and mission-driven Faculty Program Director for our Radiologic and Imaging Sciences program to provide academic leadership, ensure accreditation compliance, and guide the continued growth and success of the program.
The Faculty Program Director, Radiologic and Imaging Sciences is a 12-month faculty position within our Allied Health programs providing academic leadership and operational oversight for the Radiologic and Imaging Sciences program, guiding and supporting students throughout their academic and clinical education. In addition to faculty responsibilities, this role manages program administration, curriculum development, and accreditation compliance while ensuring alignment with institutional policies, workforce needs, and industry standards—playing a meaningful role in preparing students for successful careers in medical imaging and diagnostic healthcare.
Radiologic and Imaging Sciences at Valencia College
Radiologic and Imaging Sciences is an essential and evolving field within healthcare, focused on using advanced imaging technologies to diagnose and treat medical conditions. Valencia College’s Bachelor of Science in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences (B.S.) program provides opportunities for licensed imaging professionals to advance their education, expand clinical expertise, and develop leadership skills.
The program builds upon students’ prior technical training and professional experience, offering specialized coursework that strengthens knowledge in imaging sciences, healthcare leadership, and clinical practice. Graduates are prepared for expanded roles in healthcare settings, including leadership, education, management, and specialized imaging modalities. Strong partnerships with healthcare providers and advisory board guidance ensure the program aligns with industry standards and workforce needs, supporting the development of highly skilled imaging professionals who make meaningful contributions to patient care.

Required Qualifications:
Must possess a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a major in radiography or health related field and the following:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration (current)
Licensure or certification must be active and maintained in accordance with applicable national or state regulatory requirements.
Minimum of five years of experience
Demonstrated education and/or experience in instructional methodology, including curriculum development, management, and teaching.
This position may require face-to-face, online, and mixed-mode teaching modalities
Note: Mixed-Mode is a hybrid modality that includes face-to-face and asynchronous online instruction weekly

Salary: Salary is determined based on relevant work experience and the highest degree earned. The salary ranges for each degree level are outlined below:
Bachelors: $68,039 – $85,372 Per Year
Masters: $73,288 – $90,621 Per Year
Masters+30: $78,537 – $95,870 Per Year
Doctorate: $83,786, $101,119 Per Year
This position includes a $5,000 annual Valencia College Pay Additive, paid in biweekly installments in addition to base salary.
Location: West Campus (Onsite)

OR 18 graduate semester hours in radiography or health related field, a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, and the following:
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Licensure (current) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration (current)
