The Kaj Seifert Foundation for Aspiring Young Artists is seeking an experienced, mission-driven nonprofit professional to serve as our Part-Time Executive Director to expand capacity beyond its small all-volunteer Board of Directors. This is a contractor position of approximately 500-600 hours per year, offering the rare chance to shape the future of a small but impactful organization dedicated to expanding arts access for young people in Montana, Idaho and Wyoming. Workload will vary by season, intensifying around fundraising, recruitment and fulfillment of grants.
If you are a skilled grant writer with a passion for the arts and a heart for young people, we want to hear from you.
Who We Are
The Kaj Seifert Foundation for Aspiring Young Artists is a nonprofit organization (501(c)3) committed to providing aspiring young artists with opportunities to explore new art forms and pursue their creative passions. Through strategic grant-making and community partnerships, we connect young people with the experiences, instruction, and resources that help them grow—whether that means enrolling in a first ceramics class, attending a summer music intensive, purchasing an instrument or exhibiting their work for the first time.
We are a small, mission-driven organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. Our work is grounded in the belief that access to the arts transforms lives, and that every young person deserves the chance to explore their creative potential regardless of background or financial circumstance.
